We are looking for an alarm service technician in the state of GA, preferably mid-state but are open to other locations. The technician will need to be NICET I certified, and preferably BOSCH certified. This is a traveling position; the individual will need to have a clean MVR so we can place them in a company vehicle. Position is Monday through Friday; most work is done during the day. Nights and weekends are rare but are required if there are redline tickets to complete. Responsible for setting up, installing, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio and video equipment. Set up and install equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards for events and functions such as concerts, sports events, meetings and conventions, presentations, and news conferences. Set up and operate sound equipment. Set up and operate spotlights. Confer with meeting or concert director to establish cues and directions. Create and install custom lighting systems. Access control technicians are responsible for performing various kinds of maintenance and repair work on diverse electronic and mechanic access control systems. Installation, troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of access and lock systems. They will be responsible for install, repair and update access control boards, card-swipe equipment, alarm devices, door alarms, locks etc. Install and maintain client/server computers. Known also as Networking Cable Installers, they must install, troubleshoot, and maintain video and data cables and copper and fiber cabling infrastructure as per the standards of the organizations where they work.
